I have a website right now that is hosted by a Canadian company. Nothing wrong with that except if I need help, the phone calls are really, really expensive. Okay – I’m ready! After reading several posts about ebook package sales, I’m going to jump in the boat, too. I have a ton of stuff I used for other purposes, (homeschooling, tutoring, resources, etc.) that I can whip into ebooks in a fairly short amount of time and sell in a package sale format. I already have a couple of my hardcover unit studies that I sell in an ebook format, but if I’m going to do 10-12 more, I have further questions:
What is the ideal length for an ebook?
What is the usual font size for an ebook?
Do color “covers” make them sell better?
What is the best download size for an ebook?
If I sell 10 as part of a package, do I create one massive download file that contains all ten? Or, do they download individually? [Read more...]
